Goldman Sachs
Goldman Sachs is committed to creating an inclusive environment consisting of the very best and brightest talent from the widest possible range of backgrounds and experiences. With a strong focus on gender equality, we sustain a global effort to increase the number of senior women business leaders by supporting women in their career growth.

Our senior women’s initiative encapsulates a broad range of programs including a Women Partner Advocacyprogram whereby women partners meet to discuss promotion prospects of women managing directors and high-potential vice presidents, and reaffirm this vital pipeline with division heads.

To ensure that high-performing women have sponsors who will help expand their networks, form an objective view of their potential and encourage stretch assignments, we also rolled out the Female Vice President Sponsorprogram across Asia.

Our ACCESS program provides female vice presidents in Asia with access to local and visiting senior leaders, through private meetings, roundtables or partner dinners.

Addressing the industry-wide challenge of women leaving at a faster rate than men at a mid-point in their career, we launched the Returnship program in Singapore in 2011. The program provides women re-entering the industry with an opportunity to sharpen skills essential for returning the workplace.

Our Flexible Work Arrangements, Parenting Toolkit and Maternity Mentoring program help create a women-friendly work environment and support women with integrating their work and personal responsibilities.

Last but not least, our Women’s Networks host events throughout the year in different markets keeping gender diversity at the forefront of our minds.
