The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) is co-hosting in partnership with ILO and ACT/EMP an Asia-Pacific regional conference “Fostering Female Talent in the Workforce: Women in Business and Management”.
The conference agenda are as follows:
1) Opening speeches by Ms Tomoko Nishimoto, Assistant Director-General, International Labour Organization; the Guest-of-Honour; and Mr Ho Kwon Ping, Executive Chairman, Banyan Tree Holdings, and Chairman, Board of Trustees, Singapore Management University
2) Ms Deborah France-Massin, Director of ACT/EMP will then present the key findings of the ILO regional report on Women in Business and Management in Asia Pacific and globally
3) Three (03) panel discussion sessions consisting of international experts, employers’ organizations, high-level management from Singapore based and regional (international) enterprises, to understand trends and practices in the Asia Pacific region, and to highlight good practices and policy initiatives from Singapore and international business community. And in each of the session, we will be utilising Pigeonhole Live™ for Q&A to encourage participation, and a dialogue mapping visualizer to summarise the theme and important points raised for topics mentioned in pictorial illustrations.
