Organisations which do not operate on merit handicap themselves. Drew & Napier is what it is today because it is gender blind. For that reason, and as far as I can remember, Drew has always had women in leadership positions professionally and among our top executives.

 

They have comprised, and continue to be among, those recognised by the market as superb lawyers. One has gone on to become a highly respected High Court Judge. Another, a Senior Counsel, is a Member of Parliament who was also the Deputy Speaker of Parliament. The other women on Drew’s Board and those who are fast rising are high achievers who have displayed an amazing ability to balance their very heavy professional responsibilities with their roles as wives and mothers. Drew is run by women: they head up Administration, Finance, IT and Public Relations.
