#PositionofStrength is Twitter’s female safety and empowerment program that aims to promote women’s voices online whilst helping them protect their voices.
Co-Sponsored by the Singapore Council of Women's Organisations, BoardAgender and the Young Women's Leadership Connection, and in honour of International Women's Day (IWD), the event will feature a series of Soapbox speeches by influential Singaporean leaders, including Minister Grace Fu. This will be followed by a facilitated panel discussion, which will lead into an opportunity for networking over cocktails and canapés!
In the spirit of IWD, #PositionofStrength will celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of Singaporean women and focus on how we can work together to strive for a more empowered and equal society. Whether it is a call for a #PledgeforParity, or insights about how to campaign for #childprotection on social media, prepare to be #inspired!
